In more than half of the Chester County areas highlighted below, the median price of homes sold increased in the five years from 2004 - 2009. In many other areas, values remained relatively stable or experienced only modest declines. In only two of the 16 areas below did the median price of homes sold decline by more than 10%. Given the state of the nation's housing, this is truly extraordinary and confidence building data.
